BEIJING--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Due to the popularity of mobile game in 2012, the Most Creative Mobile Game Award saw well heated competition at the 4th CGDA.
According to the statistics of General Administration of Press and Publication of PRC (GAPP), China’s mobile game user number amounted to 78.2 million during the first half of 2012, surging 70.9% year-on-year. The figure is expected to reach 98.24 million by the end of 2012.

During the first six months of 2012, the sales revenue of China’s mobile game market hit RMB 1.26 billion, up 54.4% year-on-year.

In response to the huge demand, the number of mobile game development teams is expanding rapidly. Eager to gain attention and recognition of the industry and to establish a good reputation, those teams are actively involved in various award competitions. Therefore, the competition for CGDA’s mobile game awards was even fiercer this year. And the nominees of this year’s CGDA Most Creative Mobile Game Award were indeed well-known leading teams owning recognized products. We hope to see this trend continue and that future CGDA events will recognize and promote China’s best mobile game development teams to the greatest extent.
