FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Florida Turkish American Association (FTAA) is proud to present "Aegean Treasures", a day of Turkish music, dance, art, and culture at the 11th Annual Turkish Festival.

WHERE: Pompano Beach Civic Center, 1801 NE 6th Street, Pompano Beach, Florida.
WHAT: The festival's highlights will include performances by folk dance groups performing Turkey's famous traditional and distinctive dances, live Turkish music, and belly dancing. The festival will offer delicious Turkish food available for purchase, such as doner kebap, borek (cheese and spinach filled pastry), baklava and Turkish coffee, to name a few of the delicacies. There will be traditional fortune tellers reading coffee grinds in the special coffee tent. Demonstrations of Turkish arts such as paper marbling (Ebru), will give guests the opportunity to purchase these unique and popular forms of Turkish arts and crafts. Free children's activities include face painting and balloon sculpting, making the festival a family affair.
