As at August 31, 2012, the number of shares in Sectra AB (STO:SECTB) amounts to 37,094,978, of which 2,620,692 Series A shares and 34,474,286 Series B shares. This entails a decrease of 37,094,987 in the number of shares outstanding in August, of which 2,620,692 Series A redemption shares and 34,474,286 Series B redemption shares.
The change is attributable to the 2:1 split resolution with mandatory redemption, which was resolved at Sectra’s Annual General Meeting on June 28, 2012. Through this redemption procedure, SEK 5.00 per share totaling approximately SEK 185 million has been transferred to Sectra’s shareholders.
