Marc Haverland
Mr. Haverland has over 20 years’ experience building and leading effective technology teams, architecting Internet-scale technology solutions and defining and executing a technology vision aligned with a startup’s business model and strategic vision. Most recently, he was Vice President of SaaS Engineering for McAfee following acquisition of MX Logic in 2009. At MX Logic, Mr. Haverland was Executive Vice President of Engineering and Operations, delivering SaaS security solutions to over 70,000 SMB-to-Enterprise businesses representing over five million users.
Prior to MX Logic, Mr. Haverland worked for DigitalGlobe and served as Vice President of Engineering and Operations during MapQuest’s early-stage growth in the “dot-com” era. He led the company’s technology organization, growing MapQuest to be the industry-leading provider of its time, which resulted in a successful IPO and subsequent acquisition by AOL.
S. Tien Wong
Mr. Wong is Chairman and CEO of Lore Systems, Inc., an award-winning leader in cloud computing, Green IT, and Telework solutions, and Chairman and CEO of Opus8, Inc., a private investment firm specializing in middle market buyouts, private equity and venture capital investment.
Mr. Wong was co-founder and CEO of CyberRep, Inc. which, at the time of its acquisition by Affiliated Computer Services in 2003, was one of the largest privately held CRM outsourcing companies in the world, operating 6 customer interaction centers throughout the USA with over 2,300 employees and $80 million in revenue.
Among his many awards are the 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Greater Washington, three consecutive selections as a SmartCEO Magazine "Smart100" CEO (2009-2011), and one of the “25 CEOs You Need To Know” in 2010 by The Gazette of Politics and Business in 2010. He is a member of Young Presidents' Organization and a frequent guest lecturer on entrepreneurship, leadership and finance at the University of Maryland and Georgetown University.
Mr. Wong serves on the Boards of Directors of the Maryland Venture Fund Authority, the Technology Council of Maryland, the Potomac Officer's Club, FounderCorps and the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship. He serves on the Investment Advisory Board of the Commonwealth of Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology GAP Fund.
