MRV’s CIO Wins LA Business Journal’s Top Honor

CHATSWORTH, Calif.--()--MRV Communications, Inc. (OTCQB: MRVC) ("MRV" or the "Company"), a leading provider of optical communications network infrastructure equipment and integration and managed services, announced today that Jeremy Erlandsen, Chief Information Officer of MRV, was named 2012 CIO of the Year by The Los Angeles Business Journal.

Erlandsen assumed the role of the information technology leader in 2011 and has reorganized MRV’s global operation into a centrally controlled competency-based model. Erlandsen has executed several programs that have streamlined MRV’s application footprint and also ensured that all of MRV’s key departments were congruent with departmental strategies.
