Research and Markets: Country Report New Zealand: New Zealand Will Continue to Benefit from a Stable Political Environment in 2012-16

DUBLIN--()--Dublin - Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/cd9lzv/country_report_new) has announced the addition of the "Country Report New Zealand" report to their offering.

New Zealand will continue to benefit from a stable political environment in 2012-16. The National Party-led coalition controls 64 out of the 121 seats in the legislature following the November 2011 general election.

The National-led administration is likely to remain committed to its existing policy agenda, which in the short term will focus on reconstruction and aid efforts following the September 2010 and February 2011 earthquakes.

Despite strong opposition, the government will push ahead with the sale of a number of state assets. It will also move forward with plans to enhance economic activity, for example by boosting minerals exploitation.
