Wikifamilies Signs Up 30,000+ Users on Back of News Releases

NYON, Switzerland--()--Malcolm Hutchinson, President & CEO of Wikifamilies, Inc. (OTCQB:WFAM), said today that in addition to the beta testers involved in the testing of the wikifamilies.com platform since September, a significant number of additional users had signed up for the Wikifamilies service despite it being in beta test, primarily as a result of the media coverage over the past few weeks.

With these additional sign-ups, it brings the number of users to more than 30,000 even before the site is officially launched on Friday, March 30th. On average, each new registrant invites five additional users or members to their group. These additional users then register as members in their own right and in turn invite an additional four to five users to the group they create. Therefore there is a cascading effect with each new registrant generating on average 20 users.

Hutchinson observed that “With each new media release, there has been a surge in new registrations. The key is not the new registrations but the knock on effect from the users invited by the original registrant despite the beta format where not everything has been perfectly operating.”

Hutchinson added that “Whilst these numbers are interesting, they have little significance when compared to the major subscriber deals in Wikifamilies’ partner pipeline where the numbers of subscribers being recruited are in the tens of millions rather than a few thousand. The significance of these figures is that they prove the catalyses effect of each new registrant which is significant when put into the context of the real numbers available after launch.”

While there will be duplication with individuals invited to join multiple “families,” these figures show that even in the context of the Revelation Network deal, with the original base of 17 million users envisaged, these families will invite additional users outside the Revelation Network community and thus provide a large multiple on that number.
