Mr. Bonneau is the co-author on several patents for this unique powder-dispensing-and-sensing apparatus and the methods used to execute 100% inspection of highly cohesive powder into cartridges on 48 micro-balances in a mere cubic foot package, with powder-dispensing accuracy of 50 micrograms.
A microbalance is an instrument capable of making precise weight measurements of very small mass: on the order of a million parts per gram. For example, a ¼ inch length of wet thread will evaporate about 5 micro-grams of water vapor per second at room temperature.
