PROS Executive Wins National Recognition for Supply Chain Expertise

HOUSTON--()--PROS® (NYSE: PRO), a world leader in pricing and revenue management software, today announced that Craig Zawada, senior vice president of Pricing Excellence, has been named to the “Provider Pros to Know” awards list by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine.

The “Provider Pros to Know Awards” recognize individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia, who have helped their supply chain clients or the supply chain community at large prepare to meet business challenges.

“It is with great honor that I accept this recognition on behalf of my colleagues at PROS,” said Zawada.

“On the global front, one of the biggest challenges companies face is volatility in the supply chain,” Zawada continued. “Between fluctuations in raw materials and rising input costs, manufacturers face extraordinary obstacles managing profitability and mitigating risk. Pricing is a key lever that companies use to combat volatility in the supply chain, which then brings a coordinated view across the entire value chain.”

Zawada joined PROS in 2010 from McKinsey & Company, where he was a partner and co-leader of the North American Pricing Practice. His experience spans a wide range of B2B and consumer products. Zawada has developed innovative pricing concepts and ideas in the areas of market strategy, post-merger pricing, Internet pricing, pricing in distribution, pricing implementation and pricing infrastructure. He is co-author of “The Price Advantage,” which has been recognized as one of today’s most pragmatic books on pricing strategy. Zawada earned both an M.B.A. and B.B.A. from York University’s Schulich School of Business in Ontario, Canada.
