PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Columbia Green Technologies (CGT), provider of eco-technology for green roof systems, announced the expansion of its sales operation to the Central and Eastern regions of the United States. In addition, the organization has announced the launch of its new website, appealing to the growing number of customers globally.
In 2010, the green roof industry grew by 28.5% (SustainableBusiness.com, 3/31/2011) and all of the indicators suggest it will continue to increase. This growth is accelerated by the fact that many U.S. cities are now actively addressing the challenges of stormwater management due to the deterioration of existing stormwater infrastructure and the resultant combined sewer overflows (CSO).

Based in the new Boston office, Ms. Kelly Ferguson has been appointed as the new Sales Director. Ms. Ferguson brings extensive experience and a strong track record in management, marketing, and sales. Together with Columbia Green’s major partners Firestone, Kemper, Derbigum and Malarkey, she will be driving sales with their independent sales groups.

Ms. Ferguson is a NW native and graduate of Oregon State University with a B.S. in Business Administration with emphasis in Entrepreneurship and a Minor in Horticulture. Her previous experience in the wireless industry, where she built out various markets nationally, will be a great asset to the Columbia Green team and their national growth strategy.
