BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Merritt Athletic Clubs, an industry and community leader in health and fitness, invites Charm City residents for “Baltimore’s Biggest Holiday Office Party.” This year’s free event takes place on Thursday, Dec. 8th from 7 – 11 p.m. at Merritt’s Downtown location. In addition to club members, Merritt invites area companies to bring their staff and friends - members or not - to attend for a great time with no strings attached. This year’s theme is “Spotlight on Baltimore” and boasts a special VIP section and highlights from some of Baltimore’s favorite neighborhoods. The event also features live music, food from Baltimore’s top restaurants, gaming tables, free beer and a cash bar for other drinks.
“Many companies have been forced to forgo their Holiday party again this year,” said Donyel Cerceo, director of marketing for Merritt Athletic Clubs. “We want companies – small and large – to bring their employees to Merritt’s Holiday party to celebrate with us. We simply ask that employers call or RSVP online with an estimated number of guests. ”
Merritt Athletic is also pleased to announce that proceeds from special VIP tickets, silent auction items, and gaming events like blackjack and roulette will benefit the GIVE (Getting Involved in Volunteers Experience) program from Business Volunteers Unlimited Maryland. The program is designed to raise awareness among the next generation of civic leaders about the growing need for volunteerism.

While there is no cost to attend “Baltimore’s Biggest Holiday Office Party,” attendees who would like access to the VIP section can purchase tickets for $75 in advance or at the door. The VIP experience includes private bars, food, silent auction, and a fabulous VIP gift bag with swag from leading Baltimore retailers.
All partygoers will be treated to specialties from over 35 restaurants, including Fresh Fit, Luna del Sea, Vacarro’s, Da Mimmos, and more. Entertainment and activities include live music, disc jockey, balloon artists, caricatures, and a candy bar.
