Engineers will be available to discuss equipment, applications, and the manufacturing process. Nordson ASYMTEK systems offer speed, precision, flexibility, and process control for manufacturing mobile devices, LEDs, automotive parts, and other applications in the printed circuit board, medical, solar, display, and semiconductor packaging industries.
On display will be several new coating, jetting, and dispensing systems:
A coating system that coats, cures, and inspects. This conformal coating line combines the Select Coat® SL-940E conformal coating system with the new SC-280 film coater and SC-400 PreciseCoat® jet and pairs them with the new Select Cure® UV-9 oven and the Nordson ASYMTEK ACI coating inspection system. The SC-280 film coater delivers precise starts and stops, reduces set-up time, and improves cost of ownership, while the new UV-9 oven uses arc lamp technology for customers concerned about microwave interference with wireless factory networks.
The award-winning Spectrum S-922 LED jet jetting system for silicone jetting. This non-contact dispensing system jets 0.1 to 0.2mm dots through windows as small as 0.4mm into hard-to-reach cavities for side-view LEDs and for LED encapsulation. It's fast, consistent, reliable, and easy to set up. The workcell features auto-adjust dual jetting as well as an advanced version of the patented software, CPJ+ or Calibrated Process Jetting™ Plus.
Precision hot melt glue bonding for mobile devices, automotive displays, and component or vibration pad holding will be demonstrated on the Spectrum™ S-822 with the new Nordson PURJet™ for precise, repeatable dispensing of heated materials.
Also at the booth will be the Select Coat® SL-940E conformal coating system for selective and accurate conformal coating, the Spectrum™ S-910N dispensing system for dual-action precise coating and CSP/BGA underfill, a display of valves for every application, a software demonstration, video library, and more.
