NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jefferies today announced the appointment of Goran Avdicevic as a Managing Director in Industrials Investment Banking. Mr. Avdicevic will focus on the Transportation and Logistics sector and will be based in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Avdicevic brings to Jefferies more than 15 years of experience, and joins the firm from JP Morgan, where he was Executive Director and senior coverage officer in the Transportation Investment Banking Group. Prior to JP Morgan, Mr. Avdicevic was employed at Bear Stearns, where he was a VP and coverage officer in the Transportation and Logistics Group. He received his MBA, with honors, from Columbia Business School and his BS, summa cum laude, from Rutgers College.
