SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aggregate Knowledge (AK), a leading SaaS (Software as a Service) company delivering the campaign and audience analytics on which the world's largest advertisers make their digital media decisions, today announced that Douglas Grounds has joined as senior vice president, customer success. Formerly, Grounds was Adobe vice president of the worldwide sales engineering organization, which spanned across all the company's product lines.
Grounds led implementation and sales engineering organizations at both Coremetrics, which was acquired by IBM, and then Omniture, which was acquired by Adobe. At Omniture, he helped manage the company’s rapid growth, from an initial 30 customers to over 5,000 customers and $400 million in revenues, their IPO in 2006, and the Adobe acquisition in 2009.
At Aggregate Knowledge, Grounds will head the customer success team, which is responsible for ensuring that customers of the AK Media Intelligence Platform experience quick and smooth transitions into the powerful platform, as well as dedicated, on-going support that includes campaign design and technical set-up, recommendations for optimizations to increase ROI, and deep campaign analytics to uncover actionable insights.
“It’s exciting to work for a company of this caliber that truly values the customer on an on-going basis,” said Grounds. “AK does not leave their customers alone in their quest to drive efficiency and effectiveness into their media buying strategies. It’s important to help the customer succeed, whether it’s the initial design and set-up, using the powerful AK platform dashboard, gaining deeper insights, or performing campaign health checks.”
The patent-pending AK Media Intelligence Platform combines real-time campaign analytics with audience data mining and multi-touch attribution that allows AK customers to take control over their digital media spend. A primary focus is ease of implementation, which Grounds will also oversee. “Getting started can be as easy as a one-click setup in DFA, and we have a dedicated account team that is always available for support,” Grounds said.
“We are extremely pleased that Doug has joined the AK executive leadership team,” said David Jakubowski, CEO, Aggregate Knowledge. “He has a proven track record of success with the top companies in the space, and will be instrumental in driving the momentum of our platform and providing our customers with the ingredients to make them successful as well.”
Grounds also spent 12 years in the entertainment software business, leading product development teams at such companies as Strategic Simulations and New World Computing. He was the executive producer of the 3DO Austin studio and the founder and CEO of Lion Entertainment, Inc.
