Experts on the U.S. Economy To Outline National Agenda

Business, Public Sector and Academic Representatives To Hold Roundtable At Georgetown Law School  

WASHINGTON--()--The Communications Workers of America, The Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor at Georgetown University and the Center for Economic and Policy Research will host leading policy experts as they outline an agenda for meeting America’s competitive challenges through its capacity for innovation.

Entitled “Jobs, Inequality and the Public Sector: Improving the Economic Competitive and Innovative Capacity of the U.S.,” the roundtable discussion will include representatives from the White House, Goldman Sachs and McKinsey & Co. The forum seeks to inform the consultation process of the Department of Commerce as it prepares its comprehensive study of the economic competitiveness and innovative capacity of the United States. An Innovation Advisory Board of leaders in academia, business and labor was created to work in consultation with the Department of Commerce on this important report.
