PETALUMA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tegal Corporation (NASDAQ: TGAL) today announced that a top executive of Sequel Power, its portfolio company dedicated to the development and operation of large scale photovoltaic (PV)-based solar utility projects, has been invited to speak as a member of the opening panel of the October 23-24 Solar Arabia Summit at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Prince Alexander von Sachsen, Sequel Power’s Chairman of South America and Middle East/Africa, is scheduled to speak at one of the global solar industry’s most important and exclusive gatherings of project developers, technology manufacturers and investors. The invitation-only event brings together leading policy-makers, government officials, investors and businesses involved in Saudi Arabia’s $100-billion program designed to produce 5 gigawatts of solar generated power by 2020.
Prince Alexander and other Sequel Power representatives will be among the primary speakers and panelists at the summit.
In addition to his executive position at Sequel Power, Prince Alexander also carries multiple political roles in Europe and in South America. Prince Alexander of Saxony is the designated head of the Royal House of Saxony (Sachsen), which ruled for almost 900 years in Germany.
