ArrayPower Builds Executive Team with VP Appointments

Company adds former leaders from Satcon, Innovalight, eIQ Energy

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--()--ArrayPower, a Silicon Valley-based power electronics company, today announced the appointment of three members to its core leadership team. Joining the company as vice presidents are Nick Cravalho, Kris Jernstedt and Milan Ilic, who bring to ArrayPower more than 60 years of combined experience in the solar, semiconductor and power electronics industries.

This news comes on the heels of ArrayPower’s launch of its Sequenced Inverter technology, which is fully integrated into solar photovoltaic (PV) modules to enable a simple, reliable and affordable solution to enhance system performance.

Milan Ilic was named vice president of systems design for ArrayPower, where he will drive the company’s development and system solution efforts. With more than 25 years of experience in the engineering field, Ilic most recently served as the senior director of research and development for inverter manufacturer Satcon. His additional experience includes technical positions with General Electric, Advanced Energy and Ascent Power Technology, among others. Ilic earned his doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Kris Jernstedt joins ArrayPower as vice president of sales and applications support. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing sales strategy and customer relations. Jernstedt comes to ArrayPower from eIQ Energy, where he acted as vice president of worldwide sales and field operations. Prior to this, he served in various leadership positions with publicly held companies such as Advanced Energy and Xantrex Technology. Jernstedt holds a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University.

Nick Cravalho was appointed vice president of business development for ArrayPower to accelerate company growth by drawing on his extensive solar and semiconductor industry expertise. Before joining ArrayPower, Cravalho served as vice president of business development and marketing for silicon ink manufacturer Innovalight, which was recently acquired by DuPont. He also previously held a variety of management positions for solar companies including MiaSolé and Applied Materials. Cravalho received a master’s in management and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
