Two Mille Miglia North America Tribute Competitors to Raise Funds for Charitable Causes

Stratus Media Group to Host Inaugural Event October 25 to 28

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--()--Stratus Media Group, Inc. (OTCBB:SMDI) today announced that two well-known vintage motorsports competitors will raise proceeds for each of their charitable causes while taking part in the inaugural Mille Miglia North America Tribute (MMNAT).

Sylvia Oberti, the first woman to ever race solo and complete the Mille Miglia race in Italy, will attempt the California route in a 1954 Alfa Romeo 1900C Super Sprint. Ms. Oberti, who has competed in the Italian Mille Miglia approximately 20 times, will drive in the North American Tribute in honor of the Northern California Children’s Hospital Research Institute.

The MMNAT will also feature vintage racer and cancer survivor John Nikas, who recently completed a 7,000-mile, 19-state coast-to-coast journey in a 1953 Austin Healey 100. Originally intended to raise awareness, his “Drive Away Cancer” efforts unexpectedly evolved into a rolling memorial for cancer victims and an inspiration to those fighting the disease. As a result of his tireless campaign, thousands have inscribed the names of loved ones stricken with cancer on the Austin Healey dubbed “Grace.”

“It is an honor to have two inspirational individuals drive in our event for causes that are near and dear to the hearts of many around the world,” said Jeremy Cable, Vice President of Motorsports, Stratus Media Group. “Stratus is thrilled to become involved in raising cancer awareness through this motoring event and look to continue this venture in the years ahead.”

The Mille Miglia North America Tribute will take place October 25 through October 28 and will host a special vehicle display at the Santa Barbara Concours d’Elegance weekend. Chopard USA, presenting sponsor of the inaugural motoring event, will provide gift bags for all MMNAT participants.
