NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI)’s Warwick headquarters was featured on CBS 2 News, which reported today from inside UANI’s war room. Said UANI Executive Director, David Ibsen:
This week, UANI showed Ahmadinejad and his delegation that Americans do not want him here in our country. His speech today blaming America for all of the world’s problems and once again denying the September 11 attacks was deeply offensive, particularly given that the worst of 9/11 happened in New York just 10 years ago. In fact, the U.S. Treasury Department revealed this year that Iran has formed an alliance with al-Qaeda--the very group responsible for the 9/11 attacks--and is helping al-Qaeda transfer money, weapons, and fighters to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
For its irresponsible decision to accommodate Ahmadinejad, the Warwick Hotel seriously inconvenienced its guests this week, as well as thousands of commuters and residents. The Warwick has greatly damaged its reputation. We hope that it and other Manhattan hotels will remember this the next time Ahmadinejad travels to this great city.
