AMSTERDAM--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Management Board of Go Electric International N.V. reported today that the company has made a strategic move into the online Motor Sports Entertainment and Gaming business.
The company has signed an acquisition agreement for proprietary assets including both hardware and software systems. The assets are being deployed through a new division called New Motor Media which will be headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden and managed by Anthony (Tony) Norman, an experienced entrepreneur in the online industry.
It is intended that with the addition of the New Motor Media unit, Go Electric will be competitively positioned to garner a share of the burgeoning revenue market in motorsports media, gaming and social media. The Company will shortly launch a new web page to inaugurate its new GO/New Motor Media business.
”Racetracks and racing series have to reinvent themselves to increase spectator numbers and finding new revenue streams for the race tracks. With early trial productions including coverage of the Swedish Touring Car Championships, a marketing value of more than 35 million Euros, New Motor Media will provide all players in the industry with the tools to leverage their investment in motorsports.
