ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HP (NYSE:HPQ) today introduced HP Exstream 8.0, the latest version of its top-ranked customer communication management solution, enabling global enterprises to build loyalty and form long-lasting customer relationships, while saving millions of dollars annually and driving top-line revenue growth.
Unveiled at the HP Exstream User’s Conference, HP Exstream 8.0 now enables assured delivery and receipt of on-demand documents, electronic signatures for accelerated transactions and expanded multichannel capabilities.
“Leveraging the multichannel capabilities in HP Exstream 8.0, we are able to produce multiple communication outputs in a single call, which increases system response time, requires less development and allows us to support faster release schedules,” said Brandon Danner, application development analyst, Penn National Insurance. “Today our independent agents are using these documents to provide meaningful conversations to better explain coverage and pricing, increase referrals and boost response rates.”
Ensure electronic communications are delivered
As customers increasingly desire communications via electronic channels such as email and SMS, HP Exstream 8.0 now automatically provides delivery of a secondary communication – like a printed document – if the first delivery fails, through HP Exstream Delivery Manager. HP Exstream Delivery Manager also logs all delivery activity, enabling enterprises to track what communications were sent and to whom.
Enterprises can now encourage customers to choose communications in electronic formats and be assured the messages are delivered.
“With the proliferation of smartphones and other mobile devices, enterprises are seeking innovative ways to deliver personalized communications in the formats customers prefer,” said Avi Greenfield, product manager, Exstream, HP. “With a complete and intuitive communication solution like HP Exstream, enterprises can use a single platform to engage customers in meaningful ways and make every interaction more profitable.”
Rapidly integrate e-signatures into customer communications
HP Exstream 8.0 facilitates the addition of electronic signatures, increasing security and improving response times for critical customer communications. Rather than deliver documents via print channels and then waiting for customers to sign and fax or mail back, enterprises can deliver documents via the web or email, and enable customers to electronically sign contracts, agreements and other critical communications.
With the integration of electronic signatures into HP Exstream 8.0, enterprises can accelerate transactions and also track in real-time completed customer communications.
Customer communications via expanded electronic formats
HP Exstream 8.0 offers expanded HP Exstream Multichannel capabilities, delivering customer communications across multiple electronic channels including the web, SMS and email, while also providing personalized, real-time content for smartphone and tablet-based apps. This can generate new revenue opportunities, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.
Madison Advisors rated HP Exstream Multichannel delivery capabilities among the best of document composition technologies.(1)
Building upon the previous version, HP Exstream 8.0 also allows business users to:
- Deliver better, faster customer responses. Using intelligent, interactive documents, businesses can quickly and easily follow up their one-on-one customer interactions with highly personalized communications.
- Support complex multilanguage requirements. Meet global demand and domestic requirements in a single Unicode product with broad support for documents that use double-byte character sets (DBCS). Users can easily switch between language layers in interactive documents and language translations are aided by special user-interface views to provide communications in a customer’s preferred language.
- Ease integration into IT environments. Simplify integration with business systems and enable rapid deployments into existing IT environments, including service-oriented architectures to acquire content, update systems or create documents in real time.
