Primus Green Energy Expands Drop-In Fuel Development Plant in N.J., Increases Total Production Capacity

HILLSBOROUGH, N.J.--()--Primus Green Energy (“Primus”), the leader in renewable, drop-in fuel, has expanded its U.S.-based development facility in New Jersey, enabling the company to build its complete, integrated thermal-chemical process. Primus’ game-changing process for converting biomass into gasoline produces a “drop-in” fuel that can immediately and without modification be distributed, sold and consumed in exactly the same way as standard petroleum-based gasoline using existing infrastructure.

”With a scalable process, technology and feedstock models and a sizable gasoline market, our opportunities for growth through additional plants and technology are virtually unlimited,” said Yom Tov Samia, Chairman, Primus Green Energy and President, IC Green Energy. “This is a unique, ground-floor opportunity for investors to participate in the commercialization of standard gasoline from biomass.”

Primus’ new facility will help the company develop the next generation of biomass-to-liquid “drop-in” fuel. Through the use of proprietary, integrated technology, Primus will address challenges in expediting the development and fabrication process of biomass-to-liquid fuel.

Primus’ innovative thermal-chemical conversion process and proprietary technology produces gasoline that is cost-competitive with fossil fuels without subsidies, utilizing carbon-efficient and high fuel-yielding non-agricultural biomass that does not compete with foodstocks.

“Unlike ethanol and other biofuels, whose potential market is limited by blending or infrastructure constraints, the market for Primus’ end-product – standard gasoline – is potentially 100 percent of the $1 trillion worldwide gasoline market,” said Ralph Klein, general partner, Landmark Ventures.

Primus plans to build its first commercial facility in Pennsylvania. The company will leverage the benefits of its partnerships with local farms for agricultural land and EcoTherm (http://www.ecotherminc.com) for biomass feedstock to support Primus’ plans for continued production scale up and operational growth. The commercial facility will have a processing capacity of 40,000 tonnes of biomass per year, thereby generating 3.2 million gallons of high-octane gasoline each year.

The company’s thermal-chemical conversion process can be applied to the production of other fuels. Primus has a technology and engineering cooperation and teaming agreement with aerospace giant Lockheed Martin (http://www.lockheedmartin.com) to develop bio-jet fuel.

About Primus Green Energy
