NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Citi today announced the appointment of Marcia Rothschild as Head of Latin America Securities and Fund Services Client and Sales Management, Global Transaction Services. The growth of institutional investors across the region and rapidly expanding economies attracting inbound investment are driving increased demand for Citi’s services.
The addition of Marcia to the team enhances Citi’s capability to provide clients with access to a full suite of solutions that help investors, issuers and intermediaries to spend more time on making investment decisions, distribution, marketing and customer service.
Ms. Rothschild brings over 18 years of global industry and product experience, including senior positions in Brazil, Luxembourg and the United States, as well as a deep understanding of client needs across Latin America. Ms Rothschild joins from BNP Paribas, where she was most recently the head of securities services in Brazil, and will report to Alejandro Berney, Head of Latin America Securities and Fund Services, and Dirk Jones, Global Head of Financial Institutions Client Sales Management, Global Transaction Services.
Citi has a number of leadership positions providing securities and fund services across Latin America, including ranking as the number one private equity administrator in Brazil.
