VIENNA--()--With the new Voice Tracer 800 series, Philips has improved its voice recording solutions even further! The new devices are optimized to capture lectures or meetings within a distance ranging from 6 to 12 meters. With the Meeting Recorder 898 you can even record in 360 degree mode, capturing every word that is said. In the upgraded range the memory storage is doubled to 8 GB, which means up to 88 days of constant recording! So, now you can save your whole semester or quarter on just one device. Other useful features such as optimized power management and charging, as well as stereo recording with an adjustable microphone have also been added.

Doubled memory capacity in outstanding audio quality

The new Philips Voice Tracer Range 800 has doubled its memory capacity to 8 GB. This means up to 88 days of constant recording! All three Voice Tracers allow you to capture meetings or lectures in studio-quality stereo recording in the popular MP3 and PCM (CD-quality) formats. The ClearVoice feature guarantees clear and vivid voice playback. The microphone sensitivity is adjustable for different situations to guarantee optimal audio quality. Loud and disturbing background noises are filtered out by the low-noise microphone for utmost speech clarity.

The Philips Voice Tracer 898 is a Compact Meeting Recorder tailored for people who need to record meetings and conversations with several participants. Included are high-sensitivity meeting microphones that offer a 360 degree pick-up radius for unprecedented voice recording quality. So, no important details get lost for your meetings, minutes or reports.

The Philips Voice Tracer 884 is optimized for lectures and presentations in a distance of approximately 12 meters. The innovative unidirectional zoom microphone is capable of capturing voices from far away and suppresses surrounding noise at the same time.

The Philips Voice Tracer 865 is made for lectures and presentations of approximately 6 meters. The innovative unidirectional zoom microphone allows you to switch between three different recording modes, by adjusting to different recording ranges.

The portable Voice Tracer solutions are designed around your needs: light, powerful and easy-to-use solutions for recording distant voices and conversations. To record over longer periods the Voice Tracers can be powered through USB 2.0 or batteries. Also via USB 2.0, data can rapidly be transferred to your computer.
