LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Glee stars Cory Monteith, Darren Criss, Ashley Fink, Mark Salling, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale, Chord Overstreet and Harry Shum, Jr. will debut an exclusive clip from the motion picture GLEE: THE 3D CONCERT MOVIE at the Teen Choice Awards, which airs August 7, live, at 8pm/7 Central, on FOX.
GLEE: THE 3D CONCERT MOVIE, in theaters everywhere August 12 for a limited two-week engagement, will bring together the millions of fans, known as “Gleeks,” to experience the characters, music and magic in a whole new way, via the immersive magic of a 3D motion picture theatrical event.
The film will enable “Gleeks” who were unable to obtain tickets to the sold-out shows, or who live in markets not included in the tour, or who just want to see it again, to enjoy the unique concert experience. Additionally, the film’s on-stage performances are interwoven with intimate behind-the-scenes looks at favorite characters, as they’ve never been seen before.
GLEE: THE 3D CONCERT MOVIE is produced by series creator Ryan Murphy and Dante Di Loreto, and directed by Kevin Tancharoen.
TEEN CHOICE 2011 is executive-produced by Bob Bain (“Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards”) and Michael Burg. Paul Flattery and Kelly Brock serve as producers, and Greg Sills serves as supervising producer.
