NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ActiveHealth Management (ActiveHealth®) today announced the appointment of Richard Noffsinger to president and chief executive officer. Noffsinger will provide executive leadership and drive growth of ActiveHealth products, including the CareEngine®, CareTeam, and care management services, as well as for Health Data and Management Solutions (HDMS), an ActiveHealth subsidiary that provides comprehensive data aggregation, reporting, analysis and consulting services. Noffsinger succeeds Gregory Steinberg, M.D. who is moving to Aetna to head Clinical Innovation.

Noffsinger has more than 20 years of experience in health care technology business development, strategic partnerships, sales and distribution. He joins ActiveHealth from Anvita Health (formerly SafeMed), a health information technology company, where he served as president and CEO. Prior to leading Anvita Health, he served as president and chief operating officer of Amicore, a provider of electronic medical records, practice management software, and related health care information technologies. Before his work with Amicore, Noffsinger served as Group Industry Manager, Worldwide Health Care Market at Microsoft.
Noffsinger is a graduate of The University of Washington at Seattle with a degree in Business Administration.
