NEW’s Top HR Executive Wins Leadership Award

STERLING, Va.--()--NEW’s senior vice president of Human Resources, Terri Feely, received the Leadership Award for organizations with 1,000 or more employees at the 10th annual HR Leadership Awards of Greater Washington ceremony held last week in Arlington, Va. In receiving this award, Feely was also named a finalist for The Dr. J.P. London Award for Promoting Ethical Behavior, which honors those who have illustrated an enduring commitment to ethical business practices. Specifically, she was commended for her leadership of and contributions to NEW’s corporate social responsibility program, Compassion Forward. Through Compassion Forward, NEW made donations to more than 80 charities in 2010.

Established in 2001, the HR Leadership Awards is an independent awards program that promotes and advances excellence in the HR profession in the greater Washington, D.C., area.
