NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HMS, a wholly owned subsidiary of HMS Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ:HMSY), today announced that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved a waiver designating HMS as the Medicaid Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) for the state of New York. Under its current contract, HMS will continue to provide a range of Medicaid overpayment recovery services to the State. HMS will also expand its current scope to include administration of the technology and processes required for provider overpayment self-disclosure as required under the Affordable Care Act.
