NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In 1989, Howard-Sloan, a top recruiting firm specializing in the placement of compliance, legal, financial and IT professionals, hosted a comedy event called “America’s Funniest Accountant.” According to the New York Times, more than 225 people had attended and the event was a huge success, raising thousands for charity.

Comic Strip Live is the world’s oldest stand-up comedy showcase club, and has seen the likes of Jerry Seinfeld and Robin Williams entertain its patrons. On May 12, Compliance Professionals from as far away as Denver will descend on Manhattan to entertain their colleagues and others.

Tilden’s future stepdaughter is one of approximately three million Americans who have been diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes.
