Mintz Levin Expands the Project Finance and Development Capabilities of its Leading Energy and Clean Technology Practice with the Addition of Audrey C. Louison

WASHINGTON--()--Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. announced that it is expanding its leading Energy and Clean Technology practice with the addition of Audrey C. Louison. Ms. Louison, who specializes in project finance and development, most recently was a Partner at Hunton & Williams. She will be a Member of the firm’s Energy and Clean Technology practice group in Washington, DC.

“Audrey’s experience providing legal services to a range of energy and clean tech businesses and her expertise handling complex financings and acquisitions in various aspects of renewable energy projects will be essential to the firm as we continue to broaden the scope of our Energy and Clean Technology Practice,” said Thomas R. During her tenure at Hunton & Williams, Ms. Louison focused on project finance, asset sales and acquisitions and equity investment. Throughout her career, she has represented energy companies in various projects, debt and equity financings, and sales and acquisitions in renewable energy projects including landfill gas, biomass, solar and geothermal as well as conventional energy projects, including coal, oil, and natural gas. She also has extensive experience representing commercial real estate in sales, acquisitions, and financings, and has represented in addition to representing governments and state-owned companies in privatizations sales of assets, and independent power.

Ms. Louison received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her law degree from Boston College. She is member of the American Bar Association with membership in the District of Columbia Bar, Virginia State Bar, and Massachusetts State Bar.
