24-7 Entertainment Enters the Latin American Market with the Launch of MixUp Digital in Mexico

MixUp is the leading Mexican music and media retailer and is a unit of Grupo Carso, which itself is controlled by Carlos Slim. The Mixup Digital store offers a wide range of DRM-free MP3 tracks in CD quality (320 kbits). The digital library consists of approximately 2 million tracks from all 4 of the majors with a multimillion independent catalogue to be added shortly.

24-7 Entertainment provides its extensive music delivery platform, content management system and back-end facilities while MixUp controls their front-end implementation and design. The store comes with state-of-the-art functionality including an animated shopping experience, intelligent search, pre-listening clips, and much more. The store features music by genre, including English, Spanish, Jazz & Blues, International, Soundtracks, Instrumental, World Music and Classical. It also includes Top 10 charts for tracks and albums, news, recommendations and a promotions section.
