MISGAV BUSINESS PARK, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stimatix GI Ltd., a medical device company focused on continence solutions, today announced that it has appointed Eric G. Weiss, M.D., as Medical Advisor.
Eric G. Weiss, MD, FASCRS, FACS, FACG is the Vice Chairman of the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida. In addition he serves as the DIO and Chairman of Graduate Medical, as well as the Residency Program Director of the Colorectal Surgery Residency Training program, one of the largest training programs in the country. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Residency Review Committee for Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is also the Director of Surgical Endoscopy.
Dr. Weiss holds academic appointments as Clinical Professor of Surgery at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. In addition he is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Health Sciences Center of the Ohio State University and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida.
He has published more than 200 manuscripts, more than 40 textbook chapters and over 400 lectures throughout the United States and the world.
