BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CloudBees, the innovation leader in cloud computing for Java, today introduced its first training course, “Mastering Continuous Integration Server with Hudson,” that will be rolling out to major cities worldwide. Hudson is the most popular open source continuous integration server with 25,000 sites deployed. With Hudson offerings for both the cloud and on-premise, CloudBees is the leading source for Hudson-based solutions.
The training sessions will be delivered by Kohsuke Kawaguchi, Hudson creator and senior architect at CloudBees, and Andrew Glover, a leading Hudson expert who has co-authored numerous books, including 2008’s JOLT award-winning, Continuous Integration. Through hands-on lab exercises and discussion, the one-day intensive workshop is designed to give attendees a solid understanding of how to implement a continuous integration server in their environment. They will also learn how to use Hudson to improve software quality using best practices such as automated testing, code quality audits, automated release strategies and automated deployment.
Kawaguchi commented: “Developers worldwide have been asking for training to take their Hudson skills to the next level, so I am excited that CloudBees can now offer this course and help introduce more developers to the Hudson community.”
The first training session kicks off in New York and Tokyo on February 22 and will continue on in other major locations, including London, San Francisco and Singapore. Registration opens today.
