Club Wyndham Ocean Walk Named Best Vacation Ownership Resort for Families in 2026 Newsweek Readers' Choice Awards

Club Wyndham and WorldMark by Wyndham resorts earn 11 total placements across both vacation ownership categories

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE:TNL), a leading leisure travel company, today announced that its Club Wyndham and WorldMark by Wyndham brands earned 11 placements in the 2026 Newsweek Readers' Choice Awards. Club Wyndham Ocean Walk in Daytona Beach, Fla., took first place in the Best Vacation Ownership Resort for Families category. Additional Club Wyndham and WorldMark resorts ranked among the top three and top 10 in both the Best Vacation Ownership Resort Overall and Best Vacation Ownership Resort for Families categories.

Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort in Orlando also earned a top three finish in the Best Vacation Ownership Resort Overall category, while WorldMark Depoe Bay on the Oregon coast and Club Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge in Sevierville, Tenn., each placed in the top three for families.

The Newsweek Readers' Choice Awards are determined by public vote, making the recognition a direct reflection of the travelers who stay at these resorts. Winning properties span both coasts and several of the country's most popular family destinations, from Central Florida and the Great Smoky Mountains to the Pacific Northwest and Southern California.

“With our customer satisfaction at an all-time high, it’s deeply meaningful to see travelers single out their favorites from such a strong field of resorts,” said Kevin Maciulewicz, senior vice president of resort operations at Travel + Leisure Co. “I’m incredibly proud of our resort operations teams, who consistently deliver exceptional experiences for our owners and guests.”

Travel + Leisure Co. is the world’s largest vacation ownership company, with 800,000 owners and a portfolio of more than 280 resorts. Its cornerstone brands, Club Wyndham and WorldMark, offer an alternative to the traditional hotel stay: multiroom suites that combine the space and togetherness of a vacation home with the consistency, amenities and service of a branded resort.
