Ketul Patel Joins Dorsey & Whitney as Partner in Labor & Employment Group

COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ketul Patel has joined Dorsey & Whitney LLP as a Partner in the Labor & Employment group in Southern California, the international law firm announced today.

Ketul brings deep experience defending employers in a full spectrum of labor and employment matters, and he provides proactive counsel to help organizations mitigate risk and prevent disputes before they arise. He has successfully handled cases involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, failure to accommodate, wrongful termination, defamation, and a variety of other statutory, contractual, and tort-related claims. In addition, Ketul has extensive experience with California and national wage-and-hour matters, representing employers in class actions and administrative proceedings, and regularly advising management on leave laws, disability accommodations, workplace violence prevention, and employee discipline and termination processes. He also assists employers in developing policies, reviewing handbooks, and conducting large-scale audits to identify and address potential compliance risks.

Ketul joins Dorsey from Fox Rothschild, where he was a Partner. Ketul received his J.D. from University of San Francisco School of Law and his B.S. from University of California, San Diego.
