Symetra Names Ravi Agadi Vice President, Platform Partnerships for Workforce Benefits

BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Symetra Life Insurance Company today announced the appointment of Ravi V. Agadi as vice president, Platform Partnerships, for Workforce Benefits.

Mr. Agadi brings to this new role over 25 years of experience spanning insurance, management and M&A consulting, IT, and publishing. Most recently, he was president of MC Solutions, a Connecticut-based consultancy firm he founded that works with insurance companies on strategic initiative development and enterprise program management in group benefits and individual life insurance.

“As Symetra continues its commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to employers and their employees, we are delighted to welcome Ravi as our new VP of Platform Partnerships,” said Lisa Marecki, senior vice president, Workforce Benefits. “Since Ravi began working with us in a consultancy role, he has helped develop and execute our supplemental health benefits strategy to drive greater success.”

Added Ms. Marecki, “Ravi has been instrumental in identifying platforms that align to Symetra’s customer-first approach to products and services, playing a leading role in developing key initiatives with Employee Navigator, Nayya, Selerix, Workday, and other leading human resources information systems and benefits administration platforms. His ability to connect with our external partners and deliver the Symetra story has been a true differentiator for us.”

Mr. Agadi is a member of the LIMRA Data Exchange Standards Committee. He earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

Symetra offers group life, disability, absence management — including paid family medical leave (PFML) — and stop loss insurance coverage. Its suite of group supplemental health products includes critical illness, accident and hospital indemnity insurance, which are designed to complement any other plan, including major medical coverage paired with an HSA.
