Allstate Announces Andréa Carter as Chief Human Resources Officer

NORTHBROOK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Allstate Corp. (NYSE: ALL) today announced Andréa Carter will join the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective May 12. She will lead Allstate’s strategy to attract, develop and retain a high-performing and connected global workforce.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Carter has earned a strong reputation for leading organizations through transformation, aligning talent strategies with business outcomes and fostering high-performing cultures. She joins Allstate from Global Payments Inc., having led its global human capital strategy, talent development and employee engagement as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Carter has also held human resources leadership roles at Habitat for Humanity, Ralph Lauren, Newell Rubbermaid and The Home Depot. She serves on the board of Churchill Downs Inc. and earned a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University.
