How does the competition work?

Starting today, February 17, 2025, hopeful ambassadors can apply by creating a simple 60-90 second video explaining what they’d do with $10,000 and freedom from laundry in 2025.

Applicants will rally friends, family and community for votes through their own social media channels and creative outlets. Votes will be counted and displayed online in the contest's entry page: Poplin.co/ChiefFreedomOfficer. The contest will close to entries at 11:55pm EST on March 26, 2025.

The top 6 entries (based on votes) will be announced as contest finalists on March 31, 2025. All finalists will further push for votes and appear in their local media to harness hometown support to vote for their entry online before voting for finalists officially closes (April 15, 2024).

Poplin will choose a winning candidate from the finalists based 20% on the interview, along with the following criteria:

• 20% Creativity
• 20% Technical ability
• 20% 'X' factor
• 20% Votes

One successful candidate will be crowned as the 2025 Poplin Chief Freedom Officer by the Poplin Laundry Fairy on April 22, 2025.
