AHF Sets the Record Straight on Misreported Funding by Newcastillian News

JOHANNESBURG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) has called on Newcastillian News, a media outlet in KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa, to correct an inaccurate report that falsely claimed AHF is a direct recipient of funds from the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

AHF clarified that it does not directly receive PEPFAR funding in South Africa. The misinformation was published without the organization’s consent or prior knowledge.

Operating in South Africa since 2002, AHF continues to provide essential, lifesaving HIV care and currently supports more than 251,500 patients across four provinces.
