Academy Securities Announces Appointment of New Head of Fixed Income, Randy Lauer

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Academy Securities, the nation’s first Post-9/11 veteran owned and operated investment bank, is pleased to announce the appointment of Randy Lauer as its new Head of Fixed Income.

Randy Lauer has served as a Managing Director at Academy for the past 3 years. Most recently, Mr. Lauer was the Head of Business Development & Institutional Sales where he played a pivotal role in expanding the firm's client base and strengthening key relationships with institutional partners. His proven ability to drive business growth and cultivate strategic partnerships will be invaluable as he steps into his new role. Prior to Academy, Mr. Lauer worked at Citi for 23 years having held several notable roles including Head of North American Securitized Product Sales and Head of Fixed Income Sales - Midwest Region. Mr. Lauer assumes this role from Spencer Wilcox who has recently been appointed as Academy’s new President.

Mr. Lauer was previously an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Politics from Lake Forest College. He holds his Series 3, 7, 24, 53, and 63 licenses.
