Reliance Matrix Announces Inaugural Reliance Matrix Championship Golf Tournament

Epson Tour stop will be held May 1-4, 2025 in Las Vegas

PHILADELPHIA--()--Reliance Matrix, a leader in technology-enabled employee benefits and absence management, has announced it will sponsor the Reliance Matrix Championship, a new tournament on the 2025 Epson Tour schedule, May 1-4 at Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. This sponsorship is in addition to the company’s three-year commitment as a national DEI Partner of the Epson Tour, the Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA.

According to the Epson Tour, the Reliance Matrix Championship will be the Tour’s first-ever stop in the Las Vegas market. The tournament boasts a $250,000 purse and is one of only four events on the 2025 Tour schedule in which athletes will compete over four tournament rounds, or 72 holes.

“As a national DEI Partner of the Epson Tour, we are committed to the organization’s mission to drive pay equity and improved access among some of the most talented athletes in the world,” said Chris Fazzini, President of Reliance Matrix. “Beyond that, our experience with the Tour, players and tournament operators has been both gratifying and a significant boost to our sales and corporate development initiatives. When the opportunity to sponsor a new stop on the Epson Tour arose, we jumped.”

Celebrating its 45th season this year, the Epson Tour schedule includes $5 million in total prize money to be awarded over 20 tournaments. The Reliance Matrix Championship is one of three new events set to debut in 2025.

“We are thrilled to be adding the Reliance Matrix Championship to the 2025 schedule,” said Epson Tour Chief Business and Operations Officer, Jody Brothers. “Reliance Matrix has been an incredible partner to our Tour, and we are excited to work together to create a memorable event in Las Vegas for our athletes, sponsors and fans.”

In addition to exposure at Tour events and participation in select tournaments, Reliance Matrix has leveraged its DEI Partner status through sponsorship of individual athletes – Brand Ambassadors – who represent the company both on and off the course. They include Tour pros Savannah Villaubi, Carley Cox Pruette and – new for 2025 – Hailee Cooper.

“Golf has traditionally gone hand-in-hand with business in the insurance industry,” said JoAnne Doyle, Vice President of Group Sales for Reliance Matrix. “And the challenges for women professionals are remarkably similar. The opportunity to connect our brokers, clients and partners with these extraordinary athletes has been educational, inspirational and thoroughly satisfying – for everyone involved.”
