CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Storage Post Self Storage has finalized the acquisition of two self-storage properties in Chicago with the help of leading commercial real estate brokerage firm Marcus & Millichap. Storage Post currently operates 33 other locations in New York, New Jersey and Louisiana.

The deal is part of its entry into the Midwest market with a starting portfolio of five properties. The former Honore Storage properties are located at 3215 W. Lawrence Avenue in the Albany Park neighborhood and 5145 N. Clark Street between the Uptown and Andersonville communities.

“Marcus & Millichap were wonderful to work with and ensured a smooth process from inquiry to closing,” says Jack Giannola, Storage Post’s Director of Acquisitions.

The deal was brokered by Jeffrey Herrmann and Sean Delaney, investment specialists from Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office. “We appreciate their help,” Giannola says. “They’ve made us feel truly welcome as we venture into the Great Lakes area. We hope to work with them again in the future as we continue to expand in Chicago and throughout the Midwest.”
