LOS ANGELES & SEATTLE & TAIPEI, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In response to the surge in trans-Pacific travel demand and on the heels of earning the prestigious APEX 2025 Five Star Major Airline Award, Taiwan-based luxury carrier STARLUX Airlines announced that it will expand its North American footprint by increasing flight frequencies from Los Angeles and Seattle to Taipei.
From December 22, 2024, STARLUX will begin operating 10 flights weekly between Los Angeles International Airport and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), up from the daily flights it currently operates on this route. The newest additions will depart every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Here is the new schedule:

Beginning March 1, 2025, STARLUX will operate daily flights between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), more than doubling the current capacity. According to the IATA, in August 2024, international passenger demand from the US to the Asia-Pacific region increased by 10.6% compared to August 2023, with much of this fueled by healthy leisure and corporate travel.
