FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® (NVAR):
WHAT
After a year of low housing inventory and regional trends that bucked the national ones, the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® (NVAR) will present its 2025 housing forecast on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Eastern. Presented by a panel of real estate and economic experts, the briefing comes on the heels of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) national forecast.
Based on research conducted by the George Mason University (GMU) Center for Regional Analysis, NVAR’s forecast will include regional sales trends, a breakdown by housing type (condo, townhome, single-family), and expectations for housing prices and inventory in 2025. The NVAR forecast serves as an example of a regional market forecast and will compare and contrast NAR’s national findings against regional expectations. Covered areas will include Fairfax County, Arlington County, Alexandria City, Prince William County, Loudoun County, and Stafford County. An open question and answer session will follow the briefing.
