Suffolk Hires Philip Brault to Lead National Federal Center of Excellence and Mid-Atlantic Region to Capture Market Share and Expand Brand Presence in High-Growth Sectors and Markets

Industry veteran brings regional experience, strong client and subcontractor relationships, and operational expertise to grow national contractor’s federal government project portfolio and diversify into other high-growth sectors in the Mid-Atlantic region

BOSTON--()--Suffolk, one of the largest and most innovative real estate and construction enterprises in the country, announced the hiring of Philip Brault as General Manager of the Mid-Atlantic Region and National Federal Center of Excellence. He will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Mid-Atlantic region and continuing to accelerate the growth of its National Federal Government Center of Excellence. The federal government sector is experiencing significant growth, with a strong demand for facility and infrastructure modernization across the various agencies, so Suffolk has positioned itself as a major player in this expanding market. Mr. Brault’s expertise will be instrumental in driving Suffolk’s efforts to capitalize on this growth and set new standards for operational excellence in the region.

Mr. Brault brings more than 20 years of experience managing complex and highly visible projects. For the past four years, Mr. Brault has managed a portfolio of work throughout the Mid-Atlantic as the Regional Director for Consigli’s Washington, D.C. team, where he spearheaded growth and development in the region. His portfolio includes significant projects across the federal, education, museum and cultural, hospitality, and public institutional markets, including the Lincoln Memorial Undercroft, Ft. Meade Freedom Center IV Barracks, US Naval Academy MacDonough Hall, Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum Revitalization, and the NAFVAC Washington Large Construction MACC program.

Mr. Brault has also been active in the community, including serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for the D.C. Preservation League, as well as a member of the Climate Action Committee and the Historic Project Review Committee. He is also a Trustee with the Federal City Council where he and other industry partners helped spearhead the DC Builds DC program, helping to connect local residents and students with jobs/careers in the construction industry. Mr. Brault has been recognized with awards including the Boston Business Journal’s 40 under 40 and Preservation Massachusetts’ Tsongas Award.
