DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Platinum Dermatology Partners (“Platinum” or the “Company”) announced the launch of its Aesthetics Research Committee (“ARC”) to lead the Company’s strategic initiatives within aesthetic medicine. The formation of this collective represents a bold step in elevating patient care by intentionally aligning the Company’s resources to be the leader in aesthetic services, products, clinical trials, and education. Platinum’s ARC, comprising nine distinguished board-certified dermatologists, will lead Platinum’s efforts across all facets of its aesthetic strategy and execution.
“At Platinum, we are resolved to be exceptional in all we do. This includes being the foremost leader in aesthetics within our specialty,” said Michael Pennington, CEO of Platinum Dermatology Partners. “The Aesthetics Research Committee is a classic example of the way our company deploys its most formidable resources, our physicians. The ARC will advance patient care, accelerate innovation and enhance collaboration in our expanding suite of aesthetic service lines; it is a commitment to leading the way in aesthetics by aligning the physicians of Platinum together with one voice.”
Platinum’s ARC will be led by Sabrina Fabi, MD, one of the foremost thought leaders in aesthetics. Renowned for her pioneering work in injectables, lasers, and other minimally invasive therapies, Dr. Fabi is uniquely positioned to lead this collaboration between the resources of Platinum, the expertise of our physicians, and the capabilities of our industry. A practicing physician at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology in San Diego and partner of the Company, Dr. Fabi will take on this additional leadership role to advance this collaborative effort.
“The Platinum Aesthetics Research Committee represents an unprecedented opportunity to advance the practice of aesthetic medicine by leveraging the expertise and resources of some of the most experienced clinical investigators, all under the Platinum umbrella,” said Dr. Sabrina Fabi, Chair of the Platinum Aesthetics Research Committee. “Our work will focus on driving advancements grounded in rigorous clinical research, ensuring that every patient has access to the safest, most effective treatments available. This Committee is a game-changer for the field of aesthetic dermatology.”
Platinum’s Commitment to Excellence
Platinum Dermatology Partners’ physician-led model ensures that its efforts are firmly rooted in clinical expertise and patient-centered care. Key components of Platinum’s vision include:
- Elevating the Standard of Care: In recent years, the marked increase in consumer demand for aesthetics has led to a dilution in the quality of care for patients in certain instances. Platinum’s passion for delivering the best patient experience trumps all other efforts, and ARC will act as an active participant in raising the standard in the overall aesthetics industry to enhance and measure patient experience and safety.
- Leveraging the Power of the Network: By serving over 1 million patients through its nearly 400 providers across over 120 locations, Platinum is able to gain deep clinical insights through the ample patient data it collects, as well as the collective insights from its physicians. This wealth of knowledge is further enhanced through Platinum’s focus on playing a critical role in community healthcare, as the Company’s vast network largely serves only five distinct metropolitan areas.
- Advancing Evidence-Based Practices: Through the Platinum Aesthetics Research Committee and the Platinum Insights Platform, an AI-powered tool for predictive patient care, Platinum is fostering an environment where science and technology intersect to optimize outcomes.
