AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Texas Original, Texas’ leading medical cannabis provider, today announced the opening of a pickup location in The Woodlands. The new location represents the fifth site that Texas Original operates in the greater Houston area and the only medical cannabis prescription pickup location currently operating in The Woodlands.

Located at 1500 Research Forest Drive, Suite 120, The Woodlands location is open from noon to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The site offers Texas Original’s full suite of medical cannabis products to qualifying patients registered under the state’s Compassionate Use Program.
Earlier this year, Texas Original opened a pickup location in Katy in partnership with hospice provider Buena Vida Hospice. The Woodlands location now joins Katy alongside Texas Original’s existing permanent pickup site in Houston Heights and temporary pickup locations in Sugar Land and Conroe.
Under state law, Texans with a variety of qualifying conditions are eligible for a medical cannabis prescription, including spasticity, neuropathy, PTSD, cancer, epilepsy and hundreds of neurodegenerative disorders. Texans can obtain medical cannabis prescriptions through online clinics or local physicians registered with the Compassionate Use Registry of Texas.
