BOSTON & LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) today announced two executive appointments, welcoming Andrew Hopper as Head of Financial Institutions, UK, and promoting Chris Nixon to Underwriting Manager, Executive & Professional Lines, UK. Chris Warrior, who is currently the Underwriting Manager for Executive & Professional Lines, UK is retiring at year end.

Andrew comes to BHSI with more than 20 years of financial lines experience with both brokers and underwriters and a particular focus on financial institutions. Chris Nixon has more than a decade of industry experience. He joined BHSI in 2019 as Senior Underwriter, UK Commercial D&O, and was subsequently promoted to Underwriting Manager, Commercial Management Liability, UK, before being named to his current expanded role.
