Founder of USP < 800 > Compliance, Healthcare Worker, Patient Safety Technology Provider Recognized for Thought Leadership Excellence

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Rpharmy, a leading provider of medical formulary management and hazardous drug safety information software solutions, today announced that CEO Laura Paxton won the Silver Medal in the Female Thought Leader of the Year - Business Products category in the 21st annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners on November 8, 2024, during a gala event attended by nominees and their guests at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Award has been hailed as the world’s premier business award.

“I’m deeply grateful to be recognized for our contributions to thought leadership by the Stevie Awards alongside exceptional women business leaders,” said Paxton. “We identified a critical gap - pharmacists, medication safety professionals and other healthcare leaders needed a collaborative community. In response, we developed the Safety First Blog and other free resources to help healthcare leaders navigate USP < 800 > compliance while enhancing safety for both patients and workers. This recognition by the Stevie Awards validates our commitment to cultivating knowledge-sharing and best practices in healthcare safety.”

More than 1,500 entries from organizations and individuals in 36 nations and territories were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year. Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals around the world, working on seven juries.

Maggie Miller, president of the Stevie Awards, said, “In its 21st year, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business received an outstanding body of nominations.
