FUZHOU, China--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On November 18th, the four-day 2nd China Marine Equipment Expo (CMEE) concluded in Fuzhou, Fujian. Professional buyers from maritime groups, shipowners, and marine services achieved significant outcomes. Highlights included Mawei Shipbuilding’s letter of intent with COSCO Shipping Hong Kong for 15 self-propelled barges and Fujian Lixin Ship Engineering’s agreement with Green Era Shipping for 12 bulk carriers. Over four days, total signed transactions reached 48 billion RMB.

During the exhibition, 200 industry professionals were invited to share and discussing on over 30 conferences and forums, covering topics including, sustainable development in the shipbuilding industry (ESG), maritime cybersecurity, smart ocean industry development, sustainable materials, energy management in shipbuilding, and new technologies and materials for ship coating and welding.

CMEE hosted activities such as new product launches, industry cooperation promotions, and competitions, including the Fujian Universities Student Intelligent Marine Equipment Design Competition and the announcement of the 2025 SeaPerch International Youth Robotics Challenge.
